22nd Aug 2018, East Asia University of Technology & specialists of USAID-COMET (Mekong Skills to work) hold the seminar: “Innovation of training program and active teaching method”
The participants include: Dr.Nguyen Van Chung – Vice Rector, Dr. Dinh Phuong Thao – Vice Rector cum Director of International Training and Cooperation Institute, lecturers from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology who are specialists of USAID-COMET (Mekong Skills to work) project: Dr. Vu Tuyet Trinh – IT Institute (Deputy of International Department), Dr. Dang Bao Lam – Chemical Institute, Dr. Nguyen Nga Viet – Electrical Institute & all lecturers of East Asia University of Technology.
Chaired by Ma.Dinh Lan Anh – Director of Testing and Quality Assurance Center (of East Asia University of Technology), the seminar is a chance for researchers share and discuss effective teaching method.
The contents focus on innovating training program following CDIO method as followings:
– Ready skills for job – outcomes standards
– Introduction on Mekongskills2work project – Tools and application
– Building up the oriented – project training program and active teaching method with examples and experience in fact
– Work-based method (work-based)
– Procedure, tools and integrated direction in training program

“Although the establishment time of EAUT is nearly 10 years and official lecturers are not much, our advantage is support from big group – Polyco Group, this is not advantage for any universities, therefore we need to innovate rapidly and strongly” Dr. Dinh Phuong Thao said.
