On April 19, 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology at Eastern Asia University of Technology (EAUT) made a remarkable mark at the 8th National Startup Day for Students when it was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Deputy Minister of Education and Training. This recognition not only acknowledges the continuous efforts of the faculty, staff, and students but also serves as clear evidence of the University’s commitment to a practice-oriented and innovation-driven training strategy.
The event is one of the largest academic and startup platforms nationwide, bringing together hundreds of universities and colleges along with thousands of innovative projects. In such a highly competitive environment, the Faculty of Information Technology at EAUT affirmed its position by being recognized as one of the top 25 outstanding collectives nationwide by the Ministry of Education and Training. This achievement reflects comprehensive development, from teaching quality and scientific research to student startup support activities.
Not only excelling at the collective level, EAUT also made a strong impression through individual achievements. Three faculty members from the IT Faculty were honored among the top 30 outstanding individuals nationwide, including MSc. Le Trung Thuc – Vice Dean, MSc. Nguyen Huu Phuong – Lecturer, and MSc. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao – Faculty Secretary. They represent the spirit of innovation, dedication, and creativity in teaching, research, and student startup support.
In addition, two students from the Faculty were also recognized among 17 outstanding students nationwide: Nguyen Anh Quan (class DCCNTT13.10.5) and Ho Van Duy (class DCCNTT13.10.2). This achievement not only demonstrates strong academic competence but also highlights the proactiveness, creativity, and global mindset of EAUT students in a competitive environment.
Behind these impressive figures is a well-developed ecosystem of learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship at Eastern Asia University of Technology.
