Goertek Training Cooperation Program with a Flexible Learning Pathway

The Goertek Training Cooperation Program is designed around a 3.5 + 0.5 model, targeting final-year students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, and Information Technology. Students can choose to study in Vietnam or China, depending on their circumstances and personal development goals.

A notable feature of the program is the collaboration between the University and the company throughout the training process. In addition to specialized knowledge, students gain exposure to foreign languages, engineering technologies, and real working environments, gradually developing the competencies required by employers.

Training Pathway in Vietnam

The Vietnam-based pathway consists of three main stages, combining study at the University, training at the company’s training center, and an internship at the company.

Stage 1: Study and Career Orientation at the University

The University collaborates with the company to organize site visits, experiential activities, career orientation sessions, and introductions to corporate culture. Students also receive Chinese-language training, with the program targeting HSK Level 3 and the beginner level of HSKK speaking proficiency.

Providing foreign-language training from the initial stage helps students build a foundation for accessing specialized materials, communicating in the workplace, and adapting to training activities with an international component.

Stage 2: Specialized Training at the Goertek Vina Engineering Technology Training Center

After completing the initial stage at the University, students continue their training at the Goertek Vina Engineering Technology Training Center. The curriculum focuses on specialized Chinese while strengthening students’ knowledge and practical skills in areas such as robotics, machine vision, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and mechatronics and automation.

These subjects are closely related to modern engineering and manufacturing operations, enabling students to gain exposure to technologies used in industry. Students are also provided with learning materials and, where applicable, materials for their projects, helping facilitate hands-on practice and the completion of their academic work.

Stage 3: Internship and Practical Work Experience

In the final stage, students have the opportunity to undertake paid internships at the company. This allows them to apply their acquired knowledge to actual work, become familiar with operational procedures and professional working practices, and understand the importance of coordination in a corporate environment.

Through the internship, students can better identify their strengths, recognize the skills they need to develop further, and determine career directions suited to their chosen majors.

Training Pathway in China

In addition to the domestic pathway, the Goertek Training Cooperation Program offers students the option of studying in China. This pathway consists of three stages: studying at the University in Vietnam, studying at Goertek Group’s partner universities in China, and continuing training at Goertek’s training center in China.

During the program, students are introduced to specialized subjects in robotics, machine vision, MES, and mechatronics and automation. Studying in China gives students the opportunity to experience a different educational and cultural environment while expanding their ability to use Chinese in academic and professional settings.

The two pathways are designed to accommodate different learning needs, allowing students to consider their personal circumstances, academic capabilities, and career goals before making a choice.

Expanding Career Opportunities After Graduation

Beyond academic training, the Goertek Training Cooperation Program also aims to help students prepare for the transition from university to a professional working environment.

Through training, practical activities, and internships, students can become familiar with real workplace requirements, develop problem-solving abilities, improve collaboration skills, and cultivate professional working practices suited to engineering businesses.

After graduation, salary and benefits arrangements are discussed directly with students during the interview process. Students also have opportunities to continue working in a dynamic environment, receive benefits in accordance with company policies, and develop career pathways based on their individual capabilities.

For students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, and Information Technology, gaining exposure to industrial technologies and workplace processes while still at university provides valuable opportunities to accumulate experience and strengthen their competitiveness in the job market.
