[Faculty of Business Administration] Final Round of the ‘HR Challenge – Practical Human Resource Management Competition’

In the context of an increasingly competitive labor market and the constantly evolving field of Human Resource Management, equipping students with practical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills for real business situations has become an essential requirement of modern higher education. With the training orientation of “learning goes hand in hand with practice”, the Faculty of Business Administration organized the HR CHALLENGE – Practical Human Resource Management Challenge, creating a valuable academic playground where students can directly approach real-world HR problems faced by enterprises.

On the morning of February 1, the HR CHALLENGE Final Round officially took place in a serious, dynamic, and emotional atmosphere, marking the end of an inspiring journey of competition while leaving many remarkable professional impressions.

HR CHALLENGE – An Academic Playground Inspired by Real Business Practices

HR CHALLENGE is not merely an academic competition but a simulation model reflecting real human resource management issues occurring in major corporations and enterprises both domestically and internationally. Through case analysis, solution proposals, and HR strategy presentations, students take on the roles of future HR specialists and managers.

In the Final Round, contestants demonstrated logical thinking, in-depth research ability, and persuasive presentation skills while addressing challenging issues such as talent recruitment and development, workforce fluctuations, training and employee retention, and compensation policies in highly competitive environments. Each presentation not only reflected the systematic professional knowledge students had acquired but also showed their sensitivity to real business challenges.

Well-prepared, creative, and highly practical presentations

One of the highlights of the HR CHALLENGE Final Round was the consistent professional quality and serious preparation of the contestants. The presentations were logically structured, supported by real-world examples, data analysis, and practical solutions tailored to specific corporate contexts such as Vingroup, Unilever Vietnam, Viettel, MB Bank, and SPX Express.

The judging panel highly appreciated the students’ eagerness to learn, their critical thinking abilities, and their strategic mindset, demonstrating that young human resources in the field of Human Resource Management are increasingly meeting the practical demands of the labor market.

The Valuable Support of Experienced Mentors

An important factor contributing to the success of HR CHALLENGE was the dedicated support from Mentors—lecturers and experts with extensive experience in management and human resources. Throughout the competition journey, Mentors not only provided professional guidance but also inspired students, shaped their thinking, and helped them refine solutions from a real business perspective.

The strong connection between the university, lecturers, and students through the Mentor model significantly enhanced the professional quality of the competition, while also creating an open learning environment that encourages students to be creative and challenge themselves.

HR CHALLENGE – The Practical Human Resource Management Challenge has concluded, but the values it created will continue to spread. This competition is not only an academic playground but also a clear demonstration of the educational philosophy of the Faculty of Business Administration: linking knowledge with practice and connecting training with business needs.
