On October 9, the International Human Resources Development Center (IHRDC) of East Asia University of Technology held a meeting and discussion with 11 students from the Faculty of Tourism who have been selected by the University to participate in an internship program in Taiwan.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Phạm Ngọc Tuyển, M.A. – Director of the IHRDC Center, along with lecturers from the Faculty of Tourism. Notably, the 11 students participating in the internship program in Taiwan were also present.
This is a 12-month internship and enterprise training program in Taiwan, coordinated and implemented by the IHRDC Center. Under this program, Tourism students from EAUT will complete their internships at two hospitality enterprises in Taiwan: Golden Tulip Fab Hotel and Aloft Taipei Beitou Hotel.
This program carries significant meaning for EAUT students, as it provides the opportunity to:
- Gain overseas internship experience, improving both professional skills and foreign language ability.
- Understand Taiwanese culture, society, and workplace environment.
- Enhance future career prospects, such as transitioning to professional work visas or international business roles after the internship period.
- Receive all benefits and allowances as committed by the participating enterprises throughout the internship in Taiwan.
During the meeting, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Tuyển, Director of IHRDC, shared: “This is not only an internship, but also a journey of growth — an opportunity to challenge yourself and bring the image of EAUT students to the world.”
He also expressed his belief that with enthusiasm, a spirit of learning, and confidence, the students will achieve great success, gain valuable experiences, and inspire future generations of EAUT students.
