Implementing the work plan for the academic year 2025–2026 of East Asia University of Technology, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering successfully organized the Welcome Ceremony for Freshmen (K16) and the Citizenship Education Week for the academic year 2025–2026.

On the morning of September 23, 2025, the Welcome Ceremony for Freshmen (K16) and the Opening Citizenship Education Session of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering were solemnly held at the Auditorium, 6th Floor, Vietnam Building.

During this important event, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was also honored to welcome the participation of representatives from the Faculty’s business partners:

Representatives from Luxshare-ICT (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.
Representatives from Brother Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Representatives from LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd.
Representatives from Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn).

Also attending were representatives from the Career Orientation and Corporate Cooperation Center and academic advisors in charge of students from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
During the session, freshmen were introduced to the fundamental information about East Asia University of Technology as well as the regulations, academic policies, and training programs of the majors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering Technology, and the specialized field of Semiconductor Technology under the regular undergraduate system.

K16 freshmen also had the opportunity to visit and experience laboratories and practical classrooms managed by the Faculty at both EAUT Campus and the Vietnam Building.
They actively participated in extracurricular activities such as operating and experiencing industrial robots, enrolling in training courses on circuit design, programming, and robot manufacturing, as well as registering for upcoming contests including Mini Robot Competition 2026, Robocon Creativity 2026, Student AI Technology Challenge 2026, and Young Scientific Innovation 2026.

Throughout the week, the faculty members provided enthusiastic guidance, answering students’ questions and offering academic orientation to help them gain confidence as they begin their university journey at East Asia University of Technology.
The Faculty wishes all K16 freshmen a successful and fulfilling first year—quickly adapting to the new environment, developing strong study habits, and cultivating good character as future engineers in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
