In the joyful atmosphere welcoming the new academic year 2025–2026, the Faculty of Chinese Language, East Asia University of Technology, solemnly held the Citizenship Education Week and the Welcome Ceremony for Freshmen of Cohort K16. The event took place on the morning of September 20, 2025, at the 6th-floor auditorium of the Vietnam Building, bringing a wide range of meaningful emotions to the new members of K16.

The Citizenship Education Week began with an introduction to the EAUT community—where K16 freshmen became acquainted with the university’s history, mission, and core values. Additionally, the students gained deeper insights into the Faculty of Chinese Language—a place that nurtures passion for language, culture, and promising future career opportunities.

During the program, freshmen were thoroughly introduced to the university’s academic regulations and training system for the Chinese Language major. This session provided them with a clearer understanding of their academic journey, effective learning methods, and essential skills to confidently navigate four years of university life.

A highlight of the week was the Q&A session between lecturers and students. Questions ranging from academic programs and extracurricular activities to post-graduation career opportunities were all addressed in a detailed, open, and friendly manner by the faculty members.

The event not only provided valuable information but also conveyed an inspiring message: “Always stay confident, proactive, and persistent.”
We wish all K16 freshmen a smooth transition into university life, an active learning journey, and the determination to become strong, knowledgeable, and passionate “language warriors” of EAUT.
