Having overcome 58 competing teams from 19 educational institutions nationwide, OKIOGEN, a team from the Faculty of Business Administration at Dong A University of Technology (EAUT), has excellently won First Prize in the 2026 Students with ESG Initiatives Competition. In addition to claiming the highest award, the team has also earned the opportunity to advance to Stage 2, the Incubation and Seed Funding phase at the Banking Academy.
OKIOGEN’s Journey to Becoming the Champion
The 2026 Students with ESG Initiatives Competition is a platform for students nationwide to bring their creative ideas closer to real-world applications while exploring and addressing issues related to the environment, society, and governance.
This year’s competition brought together 58 teams from 19 educational institutions across the country. Each team brought its own unique perspective, with different ideas and approaches. To reach the final round, teams needed not only a strong idea but also the ability to develop solutions, demonstrate critical thinking, and present effectively before the judging panel.
Throughout the competition, OKIOGEN made a strong impression with its confidence, teamwork, and proactive approach to problem-solving. The knowledge gained in the classroom, combined with thorough preparation, helped the five members gradually refine their performance and win over the judging panel.
As a result, OKIOGEN overcame its competitors to win First Prize in the competition. This is a remarkable achievement for the team and a proud milestone for the students of the Faculty of Business Administration in particular and EAUT students as a whole.

First Prize and a Ticket to the Next Stage: Seed Funding
The victory in the competition brought OKIOGEN two remarkable achievements:
🥇 First Prize in the 2026 Students with ESG Initiatives Competition
🌱 The opportunity to advance to Stage 2, the Incubation and Seed Funding phase at the Banking Academy
While the First Prize recognizes the team’s efforts throughout its journey, advancing to the Incubation and Seed Funding stage opens up an entirely new challenge.
In the next stage, OKIOGEN will have the opportunity to further refine its initiative, develop its ideas, and gradually bring the project closer to real-world implementation. This will also be an opportunity for the members to learn more about project development, business model building, and resource mobilization to transform ideas into tangible value.

The 5 Outstanding Members Behind OKIOGEN’s Victory
Behind OKIOGEN’s achievement are five students from different classes and specializations within the Faculty of Business Administration. Each member brought their own strengths, but they shared the same sense of responsibility and determination to take the team as far as possible.
1. Hoàng Kim Anh, Team Leader, Class DCQTM14.1, Cohort 14, majoring in Marketing
2. Đỗ Thị Dung, Class DCQT.15.3, Cohort 15, majoring in Business Administration
3. Nguyễn Thị Oanh, Class DCQTM.15.6, Cohort 15, majoring in Marketing
4. Trần Văn Đô, Class DCQT.15.3, Cohort 15, majoring in Business Administration
5. Tống Ngọc Minh, Class DCQTM15.1, Cohort 15, majoring in Marketing Management
The diversity of their specializations and individual strengths also became one of the team’s advantages, as each member contributed a unique perspective. From developing ideas and content to refining the presentation, the entire team worked together and continuously made adjustments to deliver their best performance.

From the Classroom to Major Competitions
One of the most rewarding aspects of OKIOGEN’s victory is that the team had the opportunity to apply knowledge that might otherwise have remained purely academic to a highly practical competition.
Lessons in management, marketing, idea development, and teamwork went beyond theory as the students directly applied them throughout their preparation and competition. Through this experience, each member also had the opportunity to strengthen their presentation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
For EAUT, achievements such as OKIOGEN’s victory are also evidence of the University’s “learning by doing” approach. The University consistently encourages students to actively participate in competitions, academic activities, and practical platforms to gain valuable experience alongside their professional knowledge.

Congratulations to OKIOGEN on Its New Journey
Winning First Prize in the 2026 Students with ESG Initiatives Competition is a well-deserved achievement for the five OKIOGEN members after their dedicated efforts throughout the journey. More importantly, this victory marks the beginning of a new journey, giving the team an opportunity to pursue even greater goals.
Congratulations to Hoàng Kim Anh, Đỗ Thị Dung, Nguyễn Thị Oanh, Trần Văn Đô, and Tống Ngọc Minh. We wish OKIOGEN continued determination and success as the team further develops its initiative and conquers the upcoming Incubation and Seed Funding stage.
