In the era of Industry 4.0, combining learning with practice not only helps students solidify their knowledge but also opens up opportunities for developing practical competencies. With the desire to create a creative learning environment that bridges theory and practice, the Faculty of Information Technology at East Asia University of Technology organized the “FUSION WEB 2025” contest. This is not only an academic playground but also a place for students to demonstrate their programming abilities, website design skills, and innovative thinking – essential skills for conquering future careers in the IT field.
A Launchpad for IT Talent at EAUT
The FUSION WEB 2025 contest attracted 24 competing projects from students across different cohorts of the EAUT Faculty of Information Technology. Each project had its unique flair, showcasing the creativity and relentless effort of the young participants. After the qualifying round, the 14 most outstanding projects were selected to advance to the finals – where bold ideas and practical products were presented to a panel of experts. This was more than just a competition; it was a training process where students applied their acquired knowledge to create a “real” technology product – from the ideation, design, and programming stages to presenting and defending their projects. 
Impressions from the Judging Panel: Creative – Breakthrough – Distinctly Personal
Mr. Le Trung Thuc, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology and Head of the Judging Panel, shared: “This year’s projects demonstrate breakthrough creativity and strong personal touches. Many products have high applicability, showing the students’ ability to translate knowledge into practical skills.” Furthermore, Mr. Nguyen Minh Khoi, Director of CODE TOT Joint Stock Company, a partner accompanying the program, commented: “The quality of EAUT students has improved markedly. Third and fourth-year students are already applying new technologies like AI, optimizing user experience, and completing products to about 80-90% readiness – levels that can meet the practical needs of businesses.” These assessments are testament to the practical, industry-aligned training quality that EAUT continuously strives for. 
EAUT Students: Maturing Through Practical Experience
Student Bui Le Hau – class DCCNTT14.7, one of the contest’s outstanding participants, shared: “I learned so much through the competition. From soft skills like communication, teamwork, and presentation… to professional skills such as website optimization, interface design, and effective project management. This was truly an experience that helped me mature significantly.” Such reflections underscore the value that FUSION WEB 2025 delivered – it was not just a contest, but a journey of skill refinement, passion cultivation, and future career path shaping. “FUSION WEB 2025” is a prime example of EAUT’s training philosophy: learning integrated with practice, education partnered with industry. Here, students are not only equipped with in-depth knowledge but also gain hands-on experience with real projects and collaborate with industry experts, thereby confidently stepping into the competitive technology job market. 
FUSION WEB 2025 was not only a creative playground but also a place that ignited the technological dreams of EAUT students. Through the competition, the young participants demonstrated their capabilities, confidence, and spirit of integration – the qualities that define the future generation of technology engineers.
