Every new academic year, Eastern Asia University of Technology (EAUT) joyfully welcomes new faces – first-year students full of energy and determination to conquer the future. Along with orientation and integration activities, the University pays special attention to one seemingly simple yet extremely important factor: student health. Because health is the foundation for effective learning, creativity, and holistic development throughout the university years.

Health Check – A Meaningful Start for EAUT Freshmen
Right at the beginning of the academic year, EAUT organized a comprehensive health check-up program for all new students. This annual activity aims to assess students’ initial health conditions, ensuring that everyone is physically fit and ready to study and live comfortably at the University.
The check-up took place in a serious yet vibrant and youthful atmosphere. With the coordination of the EAUT Student Affairs Office and a team of professional doctors and nurses, first-year students underwent a full range of examinations, including blood pressure, cardiovascular health, vision, ENT, blood tests, physical fitness, and personalized health consultations.
Beyond medical assessments, the program also served an educational purpose – raising students’ awareness of the importance of self-care, especially during their transition from high school to university life, where independence in study, daily routines, and lifestyle begins.
Arriving early at the health check area, EAUT freshmen quickly lined up in order, followed instructions, and completed each step efficiently. Despite it being their first medical check-up as university students, smiles never left their faces.
The professionalism of the medical team, along with EAUT’s thoughtful preparation, ensured that the process ran smoothly, safely, and effectively. Warm advice from the doctors and the careful delivery of results created a friendly and caring atmosphere – a true reflection of the EAUT spirit: “A university of care and connection.”
At the consultation area, many students received practical advice on nutrition, exercise, and mental health maintenance – essential knowledge to help them adapt to university life. These insights are valuable tools for self-care – a life skill as important as academic learning.

Health – The Foundation for Learning and Creativity
At EAUT, the educational philosophy of “Developing the Whole Person” is not limited to knowledge and skills but is also expressed through care for students’ physical and mental well-being. A healthy and happy student learns better, creates more, and contributes meaningfully to the community.
Throughout the academic year, EAUT regularly organizes various physical and wellness activities – sports days, football tournaments, dance competitions, yoga sessions, and mental health workshops – all aimed at helping students maintain strong bodies, resilient minds, and a positive spirit ready to embrace learning and the future.

The initial health examination is not merely an administrative procedure, but a symbol of EAUT’s care, companionship, and responsibility for each student’s well-being.
Entering EAUT means beginning not only an academic journey but also a path of growth – toward independence, good health, and a meaningful life.
